Tattooine is looking awfully derelict these days.

Did a Ninja turtle die out there somewhere?

Something definitely died out there. I waited seven days for that shell to move. Nada.

I think that was Donatello. Or is it Donatella?

She challenges preconceived notions of traditional gender and sexuality.

Whether that's intentional or not is another matter.

I wasn't allowed to watch ninja turtles as a kid (and didn't really feel the need to as I aged) so this has gone right over my head. It all had something to do with them being too violent and also not showing the true effects of exposure to radioactive waste... although I secretly suspect if my mother had known that the purple one was gender-confused she would have let me watch, if only for my own education about transvestite amphibians...

It worries me that you all have vastly superior knowlege about these Ninja Turtles than I.

I know that Corey Feldman was the voice for one of the Turtles in the movie version, which is enough for me to know that knowing anything beyond that is likely to be harmful to the planet.

Dude.

Now that I did not know.

UTMG: It's all part of the service.

That's why I started the references to Death and the double bass earlier. I enjoyed those movies as well. I think my friends and their ability to twist my arm so I would inhale a mystery smoke from a mystery cylinder helped, but both movies were, like, totally awesome, dude.

Um, confession.

The guy I was dating at the time of TMNT being really big had a collection of sticky turtle images on his dashboard. Hungry Jacks released them with every Whopper meal. They were not stickers. They were huge pieces of turtle shell decorated to befit each character.

But forgive me, i was young, naive and it WAS a Holden HQ. :)
